About this deal

If you want to smell the 'perfume' of burnt castor oil, put a very small amount (max 10 cc) of castor oil in a 5 litre container of petrol, shake it thoroughly and add it to your petrol tank, then fill the tank with petrol.

Aways ran 80-1 on 747 and never a problem with the trials bikes and imo it is the best 2T oil you can use. I had asked the dealer to investigate at the previous service two weeks earlier (Even though I suspected what the cause may be) but you can guess their response - nah mate there's no problem.

You still catch the scent of the substance that made his company a household name in the early 1900s wherever older racing engines are exercised: that distinctive, heady perfume of Castrol R.

That's 50 years, not bad when you consider all those Slick 50 type products that have come and gone over the years. Now I don't really know what the gooey stuff was but I have a very good idea and as you can imagine, certainly didn't want them to do an analysis. In the case of Sir Charles Cheers Wakefield, later Baron Wakefield of Hythe, the sweet smell of success was more than a metaphor. I fully appreciate it will add no performance benefit at all but I would love to gently perfume the countryside if I could do so without breaking my bike.Following which, on land and in the air, the litany of Castrol successes encompasses many of the most significant events in aviation and motoring history, including Britain’s winning of the Schneider Trophy three times in a row with the R J Mitchell designed, Rolls-Royce powered Supermarine S5, and most of the World Land Speed Records established during the highly competitive inter-war years. I have run mine on R40 for years and I’ll leave it up to everyone else to decide what they think of my decision as I start to make my replies.

In hydrodynamic bearings, like crankshaft bearings, where a relatively thick layer of oil is established, this offers no benefits. This same behaviour in an engine made cold cranking difficult on startup, while oxidation of the lubricant at combustion temperatures could, literally, gum up the works. Castrol Power R40 is a castor-based SAE 40 Racing Engine Oil containing specially prepared additives to prevent rapid deterioration through oxidation. caused by internal bleeding quite far up the plumbing and, at worst, could very well be a sign of cancer. However be careful, it can gum up inside the engine and can cause all manner of problems with injectors and blocked oil strainers.

An official partner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Castrol has been part of the BP Group since 2001 following a global merger. t do it for me castrol R40 is the one ,you can get it in ltr bottles here don't know about down under.as a youth loved the smell of Castrol 'R' and if to be lucky enough to get a whiff of it now suddenly find myself whisked off into a dream and find myself start remembering very happy memories as a kid watching my father doing MX. But they were far from perfect In particular they lacked what, at the time, was termed “oiliness”, the ability to adhere to metal surfaces in a thin, continuous film. Allow it to permmiate your pores and the heat from your man blobs will evaporate it off and fill the air with a manly humm. A quick peek in the OED reveals all manner of definitions for shit, so its usage has morphed beyond the simply scatalogical.
