This was one of my mums favourite cookery books and hers used to fall open on the Victoria Sponge page as it was the most used and the most mucky! The cover and spine broke away and certain well thumbed pages were were grease stained, and torn but still it staggered on, as did we! Perfect in every way, over the moon to have this cook book back which was loaned out never to be seen again - along with the person who loaned it.First four preliminary pages are a bit crinkly and small abrasion where pages stuck due to small liquid spill o/w pages very clean.
