About this deal

year free repair: Fenix will repair a light free of charge within 2 years of purchase if problems develop with normal use. The LR35R is an extremely powerful flashlight that is capable of blasting an incredible 10000 lumens of light from a flashlight that is only 5.

If you are having the goods delivered outside the EU, then UK VAT does not apply – this also applies if we have onward shipment proof of the goods leaving the EU. If you want to stay under the radar (perhaps during a surveillance) and you accidentally press a button you don't want it to blink twice. BrightGuy, Inc is a major supplier of flashlights for firefighters, police, industry and outdoor sports.

First the five light modes of the LR35R, you can see that the light still contains a relatively low light mode. When this happens in Eco output, the battery level indicator blinks to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. but as I couldn't get used to that pale LED-color of light, I in fact conpletely abandoned LED lights for all uses except emergency use.

Again, this is a personal opinion, but a Eco of 50 lumens (according to the manual) is not Eco at all, and a Low of 450 lumens doesn’t sound very ‘low’ either. Mostly because the '35' reminded me of the Fenix classic (the TK35), I would have expected the LR35R to be the same size.

Cycling through brightness levels is straightforward and the longer push for on/off keeps things simple. Additional features include an intelligent memory circuit and lockout function to avoid accidental activation. Maybe some representative for Fenix reads it and can persuade the engineers to improve their lights.

With regards to the Turbo mode: it will effortlessly function for minutes without switching back to a lower mode because the light will become too hot. When the temperature drops below 65°C, it will then allow the user to reselect Med, High, Turbo mode. This flashlight is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage to the user or others. LR35R features 6 x SST-40 LED'S and is powered by two x Fenix ARB-L21-4000P high power cold resistant 21700 batteries (supplied). This flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods, resulting in high temperature of the flashlight shell.

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . As far as I know there is no Fenix diffusor with this diameter, so you would have to come up with your own. The shade of the LR40R is warmer, but less even in terms of colour when compared to the LR35R and the spot is less defined; this means that, at a shorter distance, the LR40R produces more light and that the LR35R can highlight a larger surface at a distance.

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on Med, High, Turbo output level for extended periods. The indicator will light up continuously or flashes in green or red to make sure you know how long you have left. Of course, you need a lot of Amps and enough heatsinking to reach 2000+ lumens from a single LED, but it’s possible. I’ve purchase 5 Fenix lights over the last several years, and they keep making them better and better.Output/Runtime: Turbo: 10,000 Lumens (1 hr 25mins*), High: 3000 Lumens (1 hr 35mins), Med: 1200 Lumens (3 hrs 15 mins), Low: 450 Lumens (8 hrs 20 mins), Eco: 50 Lumens (80 hrs), Strobe: 10,000 Lumens. Something that might be a 'pro' for one user can be a 'con' for another, so the comments are categorised based on my requirements. When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached. From left to right: Acebeam X45 II, Fenix LR35R, BLF Q8, Lumintop GT3, Imalent RT90, Acebeam X80-GT, Fireflies ROT66 II.
