About this deal

It’s a New Adult/ College backdrop that easily toes the line into Adult Romance with the seriousness and mature themes included. I did not think I could love Jade and Prescott anymore than I did in Kiss to Shatter book one in this duet but I did.

Kiss To Shatter is a must -read if you enjoy college romances, sports romances, and/or the brother’s best friend trope. There are way too many random people that I got lost knowing all of Jades friends and it made the book confusing. What is it about a hate can’t stand you but I really find you extremely hot romance that I really enjoy you may ask. I have said it before and I shall say it again, this author is a complete expert when it comes to new adult romances that have characters who are exceptionally likable and incredibly easy to relate to.Jade and Prescott both have life experiences that have shaped who they are today and how they are handling what life throws at them. I don’t want to say too much because you just NEED to read it for yourself, but this story was just beautiful. Since this is the first book in the duet, I’m hesitant to say much about it, because I don’t want to accidentally spoil something. What she has been through has made her strong, independent and only lets people so close before she withdraws.

Never knowing when the other shoe was going to drop for either of them had me on edge, but that’s a sign of good writing. I have to say that Jade's character was a bit of a mystery to me when I started reading Blairwood University with Kiss To Defy 😅, when I read Kiss To Forget and knew her story I began to understand many things about her, BUT with this book I understood 100% her impulsive attitude, aggressive behavior towards life and thoughts towards romantic relationships.

He has a lot more going on than his past injury that still hurts him as well, his own demons haunting his dreams. I never expected to fall for my best friend’s little sister, and I definitely didn’t count on her breaking my heart. Yes, it was steamy, but unlike the first part of their duet, it was more focused on their emotional connection, and I absolutely loved that! But they also just might be the only ones who can really help and understand what they are going through. Jade and Prescott are two characters I had always thought would only play minor roles; secondary characters who helped create the world-building centring around a group of friends navigating through college, but after reading this book my mind is completely reeling at the fact that it was so not the case.

Just in book one we have brother best friend, college, sports, a pill addict, asshole parents, dead mom (caner), dead brother (cancer), and more cancer. Prescott and Jade have so many obstacles against them and against themselves individually, and i loved how this didn't focus just on their relationship, but their own journey and individual growth so they could come together and truly be what the other needed. One of my favorite things about this story is that it’s dual POV, so you can see how each side is feeling as the story progresses and you get insight into the secrets and pain that is going on inside each character.Justo antes de completar tu primer pedido, tómate un momento para comprobar los cupones que tienes, con ellos te ahorrarás aún más en kiss to shatter. The note in regards to triggers I felt is key to this book, as there is a lot that both Jade and Prescott experience.

Challenging them at every single step, growing stronger every second and finally overcoming every hard steps in their lives. He was there to support his best friend and sister, and it reminded me how amazing he was and how moving his book was.

He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn.
