Can anyone tell me what has improved in the MKII from the S, or provide a link to somewhere listing the differences? it is severely limited , - so much so that even the demo project download that is supplied , does not work properly. And, while using a touchscreen like the iPad’s is great for some things, adding a matrix of hardware controls creates a more tactile and immediate system. The app features a 1GB sample pack of brand new hand-picked loops curated by Loopmasters, ranging from drum samples to artist packs across a variety of modern genres.

It's bright, and the pads are great (not owning the previous Launchpad, I can't compare them), and it is a lot of fun.

It does work with any program but not all of them will be able to make the pads light up as it depends on the LP S receiving MIDI messages for each pad.
