It’s so popular that you may have trouble getting your hands on it – so far, I’ve yet to see many of them in large quantities out in the wild. I’ll just come right out and say it – the M ystery Machine is a beautiful rendition of the gang’s vehicle of choice. Being a small set, it did a very good job to depict details within the van relative to the depicted mission.

My daughter has been going on about this set and finally found it on your site 👍 turned up quickly and in first class condition. At first glance, I was excited because the shade of green made me believe that his face and arms were glow in the dark (they look exactly like glow in the dark stars) but alas they’re just regular plastic. I found it interesting the while cover does not rotated, while the van can be pushed along, it also creates an illusion of the wheels not moving.

Both of them have simple yet accurate torsos – Fred with his orange cravat and Shaggy with his green v-neck shirt. The tree’s monster face is a sticker with glow in the dark eyes and looks good when in place – his main weapons are the branches of the tree which can be moved and rotated. The van not only looks great from the outside but has a fantastic interior filled with cool little details that fit the overall theme of Scooby Doo.This is an alternate build for the Mystery Machine that allows the entire team of Mystery Inc to fit in the vehicle. Final thoughts: The Mystery Machine is the perfect introduction to the Scooby Doo theme and one of those rare flawless LEGO sets.
