About this deal

It's really easy to work with and the formula has amazing wear time, I really didn't expect that to be honest. With hotter temperatures and continued mask wearing due to be around for the foreseeable future, we’re ditching the full-coverage foundations in favour of lightweight formulas that add a healthy glow and need little touching up. If I find it catching on a few dry patches when I first apply it, I always notice it goes away and looks smooth and even after about an hour of wear. truly recommend this product for people that may want to even out their skin tone without the heaviness and full pigmentation of a foundation. It blends really well with both brushes and sponges and it leaves a dewy finish but not the sticky/sweaty kind . This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. The applicator head is a glass ball, which I did have to get use to in terms of how I was applying my foundation. I’d say the Glossier lasts the longest on me, followed by Kosas, and then the shortest wear time is Milk. The Milk Sunshine Skin Tint is a one-of-a-kind foundation – you can tell that from just looking at the packaging. I’ve also got mixed feelings about the Milk Make Up Colour Chalk – they’re extruded pigment powders in stick form. Fair is nice and pale and if applied sparingly would be pretty undetectable on my skin, though if I build the coverage a bit, the colour does start to go a bit orange and noticeable.

I’ve noticed on the US site these have 25% off already so I don’t know how successful they have been. It's mostly because of the time I spend on homeoffice these days and I just cannot be bothered to put on a full face but they are also very convinient and sometimes provide some extra protection. Recently I’ve picked up the Kosas Tinted Face Oil (ed note: it was recently when I started writing this blogpost in November, whoops), and I wanted to see how it compared to two of my favorite skin tints: the Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint and the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint. The Kosas has the highest coverage of the three, although it’s still quite light and allows some imperfections to show through. I expected it to act a little different because of all the oils in the formula but it actually works really well with all my powders and cream products.

The formula itself gives nicely even coverage – it’s not a sheer feeling tint by any means, and gives a semi-matte finish … my feeling is that it is more SPF than it is tint so will suit those looking for only just a touch of tint. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The Glossier has the least coverage of the three by far - this has just a whisper of coverage, just offering a sheer veil of color to gently even out the skin. I’d been wanting to try this for so long, and the consistency of the product, colour match and smell are all amazing!

Keen to put it through its paces, we tried it ourselves, exploring how well it applied, blended, what sort of coverage it gave, whether it lasted and the company’s efforts towards making a more sustainable product. For any content that you submit, you grant Space NK a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you. Enough to even out your skin tone but not enough to cover your imperfections and feel heavy, which I love. I'm not much of a foundation wearer but when I do I prefer a touch of coverage to give my complexion just a little boost and evening so this for me was perfect.

It does a pretty good job at covering redness, though you would have to apply concealer for redness to disappear completely (though that is to be expected). It still looks like skin but really cancelling out any redness - it's not as oily as I expected therefore someone with normal/combination or even oily skin would probably love it. I’ve used both a beauty sponge and a foundation brush to apply and they give a similar coverage, but the beauty sponge blends thing in much nicer. I really love to just focus on skincare and wear minimal makeup most days, and the combination of tint and SPF with this is a real winner for me.

The shade match is not the best, the shade range lacks different undertones and the shade Light kind of leans a little orange on me. The claims that the antimicrobial silver in the roller ball keeps things ‘fresh’ seems to be quite a claim with not much to back it up.
