About this deal

The wall-mounted design of this display allows you to showcase your collection without taking up any valuable floor space. And let's face it, duo tone blue is a trademark of Bugatti, so it makes a lot of sense to use these colors. I also fitted a lighting kit to my model which turned out to be a spectacular 'Pimp-up' type mod for this set! This display is made from high-quality perspex and features model vinyl or manufacturer badge as optional.

It's obviously a matter of personal taste, but I do like the looks of this car better than the Porsche's.

The designer explains how they’ve overcome challenges using existing Lego parts, but the model would perhaps suit a heavier spring in the suspension unit as most the movement is lost in sag. The podcast alternates between interviews with the Bugatti design team about the creation of the real Bugatti Chiron, and the LEGO Design Team who were tasked with re-creating it in LEGO. I like the way the chairs worked out, but I probably would have added some more system bricks to avoid the gap in the seats. It worked but now I am seeing a new problem :( No matter what gear I put, engine pistons don't move (as if it is in neutral). I was surprised to see that we get a chance to build the support structure for two of the four wheels this early in the build.

I haven’t looked too closely, but what I saw in the various preview articles suggest that it is comparable. The v16 engine is something to behold, the 4 wheel drive system and 8 speed paddle shift transmission are also brilliant.A couple of notes for anyone looking to prepare for this build; the comparison page will state that there is a 271-brick unique list, rather than the 264 listed on the main page. These two components are the twin stars of this car show, housing an astronomical 624 individual LEDs between them - making this light kit a must-have to put the ?

crystal clear Perspex® display case, assembled with our uniquely designed screws and connector cubes, allowing you to easily secure the case together. Apart from "supercars" like the Porsche and the Bugatti Chiron, there are a number of other vehicles available in the Technic range. Switching further from 5 - 8 should be as easy again as 1 - 4, because in that case only one side of the gearbox need to switch.

As for ease of assembly, she has only just started in her spare time, so not far into the process, but the instructions are the usual high quality instructions you'd expect. With a wide range of colours and effects, along with step-by-step instructions to guide you along the way - our light kits are easy and fun to install.

I might sound catastrophic but the gear shifting, while very, very original and made better by the "Pimp up my Bugatti" upgrade, is in 1. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. The set is delivered in luxurious box packaging and includes a color collector’s booklet with comprehensive building instructions. Also the paddle shifter is improved, as + is on the right paddle as in real cars (in Lego version + was on left). Open the front boot lid to access a compact storage compartment that houses an elegant Bugatti travel bag.

To switch from gear 4 - 5 you need a little bit more power (just try and maybe move the car during switch!
