It is supposed to come on when the plates have reached sufficient heat, instead my light came on as soon as the machine was plugged in then after a few minutes went off? Also I noticed there is some vaper behind the LED lights, not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried? And then when the batter was ready, I thought it looked a bit thick to pour into the little holes, so I added a little bit of extra milk. We got the best results by pouring a little batter into the centre of the moulds and spreading it quickly to the edges before the crust started to form. You have to put the spout on the top of the waffle iron and pour the mixture in very carefully so you don’t block the spout, and also making sure it goes in each of the four holes equally.
