I own a 2016 batch of aventus and I literally cannot tell the difference between that and my cdnim pure parfum.

This perfume grew on me after wearing few times, definitely a smell to go for during formal occasion and formal wear. From his perspective, the top notes smell like aftershave, and the middle notes smell like new car leather. For now, edp's pineapple line is pushing everything else into the background, dominating virtually all day. You can also pick up any citrus heavy fragrance from a supermarket and some people couldn't tell the difference. I recommend avoiding the Limited Edition unless you're drawn to elaborate collector packaging and are willing to pay more for less juice.

I view myself as enough of a fragrance enthusiast that I can truly tell you that this 7/19 batch is enough for most people.

To compare the differance it would be like orginal disigner bag vs 15 usd knock off bag from chineese market. It is noticably less sweet and fruity than it appears to be from looking at these notes and accords.

To the point, the opening is not that nice though I don't hate it like others, the dry down is what gives the Creed Aventus scent but the longevity is very weak meaning you won't have it for long. This is really impressive and head and shoulders above L`aventure that smells very dry and has an annoying elemi note in it. The guy in front of him heard us and said that it wasn’t him, but that he also smelled it and liked what he was smelling. The first couple times wearing this, the fragrance gave me a bit of a headache which I can’t say I’ve had before. The description states released in 2022 so I believe this is supposed to be the Pure Perfume edition. Thinking I might have received a diluted product I took it down to Neiman Marcus, sprayed the one I'd bought on one arm, went into Neimans sprayed theirs on the other arm and couldn't tell the difference and performance seemed the same. In spring the birch sap might just about work--bit heavy maybe--but I'd probably prefer a fragrance that was greener and less (tropical-) fruity. However, after about 4 hours, I feel the need to reapply because the scent is almost like a skin fragrance.
