About this deal
Adjust the temperature of your radiators with ease using the Worcester Bosch Smart Radiator Thermostat. This saves the batteries of the Radiator thermostats during shock ventilation or when, for example, a balcony door is only opened briefly. Via the Klimamanger service, the temperature control can be stopped in the warm months (summer break). The display shows how efficient your heating programmes are, so you can adjust setting to keep energy use at an optimum level.
I have also learned from my experience with the AVM TRVs that all these systems are “isolated solutions” and only work reliably for very limited functions.Availability: From Q4/2022 in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Switzerland. The Bosch Smart Radiator Thermostats offer fundamental options for controlling temperature, the boiler, and room grouping.
It’s worth mentioning that to make your heating thermostat smart, the Bosch Smart Home controller is needed if you want to integrate the device into your system – please keep in mind that Radiator Thermostat II isn’t compatible with Bosch EasyControl. Unfortunately, the system doesn’t understand rooms and that it should operate groups of bulbs to simulate someone using individual rooms. For example, red LEDs indicate that the temperature is being increased, while blue LEDs show that the temperature is being lowered. There are preprogrammed ones, including Leaving home, which turns off all lights, activates the alarm system and can turn on Simulated Presence mode.
If your Bosch Smart Home Thermostat reports that the valve travel is too long, it is possible that the plunger on your radiator is not traveling the required distance.
You can define a setback value and a heating value via the Bosch Smart Home app and set up to 13 switching points for each day. As well-built as the Radiator Thermostats are, the lack of temperature read-out on them and the poor scheduling detract. the components of the window contact must not be more than 8mm apart and must be placed at the same height (lower edge) so that they can find each other. Frost protection The frost protection ensures that no damage occurs to the radiator even if the window is open or the room is poorly insulated. The new smart Radiator Thermostat II is the optimal basis for efficient temperature control in the Bosch Smart Home.
