This book was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy’s relationship, and the aspects of it we’re shown in the book I liked, but I felt their time together was overshadowed by Julian and Magnolia.

I came here for Daisy but I feel I didn’t get enough of her because the POVs kept going back to Julian and Magnolia. i am a firm believer in it’s his fault, he caused mp lovers pain, daisychristian lovers were so close to a happy ending, we were so close, we are always so fucking close please jessa give us A BREAK. I want to start by saying I have been reading this series since early 2022, and I have recommended it to many people. After finishing, I was left feeling like Christian and Daisy were afterthoughts or side characters, which makes no sense in a book carrying Daisy’s name.i want him and Daisy to run away from Julian and the full box set (nobody in that friend group has ever defended him. Christian reading that book because he wanted to be able to discuss Daisy's interests with her>>> Literally zero complaints. Truthfully, I started to get a bit nervous about this book once the "promo" for it started, but we will get there. we lost the plot the second Magnolia came in (again, we're not surprised, considering the obsession the author has with her). I’d sidetrack my whole fucking year for five minutes alone with her, but by way of miracle I’m getting a lot of her five minutes these days — and I’m not going to fuck it up this time.

I feel like many readers are being led down a path to want Julian and Magnolia together, and it’s insulting towards Magnolia choosing BJ. him and her together = version of magnolia i don’t claim <3 i die peacefully knowing they’ll never be end game, and if that ever changes im never picking up a book again. On top of this unbearable mess with Magnolia (made worse by her usual dumb ass and whiny behavior) I’m convinced the author doesn’t know shit about how the mafia works because WHO in their right minds would hold a mafia G6 meeting in their own fucking house (which by the way the police knows very well) and survive it? But how can he love her that much, they literally don't have a deep conversation the whole time they are together.So we can safely admit that this useless relationship dragged Julian’s character in the mud and made him unbearable. I liked that she made friends with women (Taura and Magnolia) but again, Taura was her first female friend but we got NOTHING about them but Magnolia filled all of Daisy‘s chapters.
