Gardening at Longmeadow by Monty Don takes readers and gardeners through a year at the famous garden. After a short introduction that includes what the property looked like when he purchased it, the book is organized into monthly chapters and filled with photos. The Mound has become a peaceful place to sit, which Monty has planted with a calming lemon and cornflower blue colour scheme.

By telling Nigel’s story, Monty relates his relationships with the other special dogs in his life in a memoir of his dogs past and very much present.
