Dick's story The Water Horse was also turned into a major Hollywood film, and The TV series' The Queen's Nose and Harry's Mad were very popular. It talks about all the do’s and don’ts while crossing the road, and also different types of aiders like lollipop man, traffic lights or zebra crossing. I liked this book because it has a very curious hedgehog who wants to stop cars from running over hedgehogs. This time he notices people crossing the road when they see a green man appearing on the traffic lights.In the end detemined Max finds a way for hedgehogs to cross safely, with the help of a lollipop lady! Max is helped by a Sparrowhawk who is my favourite character because he is kind and doesn't eat Max. He aims to find a safe way for hedgehogs to cross the road to get to the park, however along the way he is involved in a few accidents himself and receives a bump on the head. The children found it particularly enjoyable when Max was getting his words jumbled up and they had to figure out what he was saying.Children will need to decide which is better, making sure to look carefully for features of a non-chronological report. He does so and, after the driver of a milk float almost crashes to avoid him, Max arrives home safely.
