I did see someone mention a Victrola VPRO-2000-SLV in a previous post, I do quite like the look of it and probably will get that when I can afford it however that might not be for a few months at least. It’s pretty much ready to go out of the box, and its built-in amp cranks out enough undistributed output to fill a small room. The software does a decent job of separating different tracks though sometimes you have to re-record parts of an album because it merged two songs or split a song in half but that might happen one out of every 10 or so from what I have seen. Sound quality is great, much better than expected with quite a rich sound, tone and volume even at a load setting there’s no distortion.

Am I actually likely to damage my records with this as like I say I've been using it for a year and nothing sounds different to when I first played them, at least to me. I never really thought about the quality as everything I played sounded great and I use it almost everyday. A years passed and I've been collecting some more albums and I have to admit grown to love my little set up.
