Loved all the characters and the twists and turns in the plot - funny and sad all at the same time and I had n idea which way the story would turn next. It gets her to think about what she truly wants (and deserves), and to learn live in the real world.

I understand Piper came from a life of privilege, but to me she was written in an almost childlike way that felt incredibly unrealistic for a person this age (spoilt upbringing aside).Resistance is futile, especially after she is made redundant, so Nell heads off to deepest, rural Cornwall with daughter Cass in tow. But throughout it all, Piper discovers herself and her duality and her many complexities and that she’s allowed her presence on social media to rule her life. As she reconnects with her past and begins to feel at home in Westport, Piper starts to wonder if the cold, glamorous life she knew is what she truly wants. The beginning is obviously introduction and there are just some books for me that i love from the first page, so when i started this, i was iffy because i wasn’t feeling that immediate pull. So he cuts her off, and sends Piper and her sister to learn some responsibility running their late father’s dive bar.

Piper Bellinger is fashionable, influential, and her reputation as a wild child means the paparazzi are constantly on her heels. I read it in one long, luxurious sitting, reading each page twice, not wanting to miss a moment, and dreading The End. I am not going to say that the romance was cheesy and cringe as it is expected to happen between the romance of two normal individuals.Then, of course, there is a big misunderstanding and a conveniently timed accident that causes her to miss his boat, so they both think the relationship is over. She trespasses the Mondrian hotel to give an after party at the roof top pool, inviting thousands of people. This is a lightweight summery story, about a woman who goes back to Cornwall for the summer to look after her aged Mum. While I'm a pretty low-maintenance girl myself, it still makes my heart go pitter-patter to think of a lover who wants to work hard to keep their beloved's affection.
