It smells like someone threw up in a car and tried to clean it up but they didn't get it all and this car has been sitting in the sun on a hot day - get in that car and take a big sniff and that's what this perfume is.

There aren't any standout notes (to my nose) except maybe peach, apple and vanilla with some nondescript florals. I keep on trying it every once and a while, in case my taste (or the perfume itself) has changed, but no luck. this smells in the opening of fresh citrus with gardenia, peach, and musk and then as it gets from tops to mids you smell the bamboo, apple and rose. I consider myself all grown up and like my sickly sweet bargain finds ;) I don't care who it comes from, be them a pop singer or whoever. I didn't like it for the first 20 or 30 seconds--strong alcohol snap, and a kind of cloying grape-candy smell--but it quickly toned down to a sweet violet-powder accord, with pronounced notes of jasmine and coconut.It devolves during the base notes into a more toned down, musky sweetness mixed with the sandalwood. Purr is a very simple and likable scent for all ages, it is fresh and sweet, peach, freesia, vanilla, and coconut. I think the bamboo lightens the fruit note, so the sweetness isn’t heavy or oppressive in warm weather. It had the slightest touch of juicy ripe plums but the fruit and vanilla accords were not nearly as prominent as I thought they'd be. Well i bought a new fb and decided to try it now in warmer weather and it is back to its beautiful self once again!

It would be nice if the strong fruity part of Purr was added to the less fruity beginning of Meow for a more complete fruity gourmand. Then it smelled so sweet with peaches (I love peaches ) and vanilla and coconut and it's like a bowl of sweet rice pudding with a little floral around the edges. I think if you generally enjoy sweet green fragrances (like Mugler Aura which I have similar issues with), this might be worth trying out.
