All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or excessive amount of bubble wrap for additional protection. Maybe some people like the idea of a brandy distillate being diluted with sweet wine but I find the flavors actually conflict.Metaxa 7 star Wine Brandy is made up of wine distillates aged up to 7 years which give it a sweet and full bodied taste. The depth and complexity is considerably improved, with the sweet floral notes becoming richer and fuller. Compared to the younger 5 Star, the additional two years of aging might not seems like it should make a difference, but boy howdy does it. This is then matured in oak casks for 5 years with selected aged Muscat wines and a secret mix of botanicals.
