I do not mind admitting that I read A Del of a Life - Lessons I've Learned by David Jason (real name Sir David John White) with more than a little trepidation. This book is a treasure trove of delightful tales for fans of David Jason or captivating autobiographies. An hour of tai chi first thing in the morning, an HIIT work-out with my personal trainer, a bowl of steamed kale and a handful of almonds for lunch, and then two hours of yoga in the afternoon followed by an ice bath - this is a routine which I'm sure would work miracles for anyone of any age, although I can't be entirely sure because I haven't myself adopted any aspect of it at any point.
Only Fools and Horses is something I have turned to so many times when I needed a pick me up, a laugh, something to give you the kick up the backside to get on with it and give it a shot.
