The ‘Batman’ TV series is definitely a comedy as it was intended to be for the adults watching it back in the 60s. I’m saddened I never got to meet him and I was looking forward to seeing him this coming weekend at the ‘London Film and Comic Con’. In comics, he is best known for his work with the supremely talented artist and partner-in-crime TIM SALE on BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN, SUPERMAN FOR ALL SEASONS, CATWOMAN: WHEN IN ROME for DC as well as Daredevil Yellow, Spider-Man Blue and Hulk Gray for Marvel. I prefer Frank Gorshin’s Riddler and he was in the ‘Star Trek’ episode ‘Let That Be Your Last Battlefield’.

Joining Snyder and Capullo is an all-star lineup of special guests, including Andy Kubert, Alex Maleev, Andy Clarke, Dustin Nguyen, Wes Craig, Matteo Scalera, James Tynion IV and Marguerite Bennett! To begin this review I shall individually review each of the three novels and then go on to review the physical quality of the collection. at a time, this Batman was a colourful imagining in-line with a time where super heroics were less intense and more bombastic.I like Alan Napier’s interpretation of Alfred where he’s both loyal to Bruce Wayne and Batman to keep his and Dick Grayson/Robin’s identities secret. There are lots of hilarious moments I enjoyed in the ‘Batman’ TV series as well as lots of favourite episodes. It’s hard to believe that I was watching this ‘Batman’ TV series before and after he passed away in June 2017.
