About this deal

The Behringer BLE100 Bass Limiter Enhancer has been designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market.

You're raising the signal level, and you're raising everything, including the noise floor of everything going into the pedal. I've tried it into an amp, through a lengthy pedal chain, straight into a mixer, and everywhere in between. I can't hear much difference when turning this knob, but when playing through an EQ plugin, it appears to add a high shelf starting around 2. The exception on secound to last was made to pump-up a T-Rex pedal with lower output and no level control. The Behringer BLE400 Bass Limiter Enhancer Pedal is designed to gives bass guitarists a smooth overall sound, eliminating volume peaks. like the limiter enhancer is meant for getting that last little bit of help fitting into a mix maybe?

The dedicated LEVEL, ENHANCE, RATIO and THRESHOLD controls provide easy and intuitive sound shaping. The BLE400 compresses these different sound levels so the loud signals are matched by the softer sounds for a more balanced performance. Agreement; or (iv) your Agreement or relationship with an Organization (if applicable) or any third party. With 'Threshold' set at min (for max overall compression) this managed to cut the volume = -30 on the Keeley scale (max = -50 on the Keeley). The Image is provided by Music Tribe IP Ltd on an 'as is' basis, without warranty of any kind, including non-infringement or ownership.

Before it's gone I thought I'd get some recordings done with it in different compression and limiter settings. Also, a powerful enhancer adds just the right amount of high-end sparkle to your tone, giving your bass guitar unbelievable presence and punch. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, you may use the Image only for editorial use or as an authorized distributor or reseller.

So, I got this, the VTone bass21 DI pedal, the BOD400 bass overdrive pedal, and the BEQ700 Bass Graphic Equalizer(stil figuring out this one) pedal; all by behringer. I don't have any experience with that particular model but it's likely that with the threshold so low that the signal was not triggering the limiter to kick in, especially if your source material was fairly consistent dynamics wise. While it does preserve the bass qualities of the signal that the CS gives away, it does not compress nor sustain as well. I recently purchased an 80 dollar compression sustainer pedal by a different brand from sweetwater, and this is a different type of compression circuit.

When switching up playing styles, bass guitarists may experience inconsistent signal levels that can be damaging to their sound. The limiter pedal includes dedicated level, enhance, ratio and threshold controls that are incredibly easy to use and offer an intuitive method of shaping your sound.

With all the other dials set at zero, I found that “unity” in terms of volume between by-pass and engaged had level at 4/10 and kept this level for the rest of the testing.
