We can't make a range of shoes to accommodate each individual variation of measurements, which is why we provide many styles in half sizes and different width fittings.Clarks have worked with engineers and created a flexible outsole design that mimics the foots natural movement using targeted flex points. And whilst now, as always, every pair of our shoes begins with a last carved by hand from a single block of hornbeam, advanced construction techniques, technologies and contemporary materials help us deliver perfection tailor-made for the modern world. Cut to a wide fit for extra room, the shoe is designed with responsive cushioning and a breathable leather sock that moulds to the foot shape with time and wear to increase comfort. Designed with the concept of a sporty style - combining fashion, leisure and sports, suitable for different occasions. At the time it was ground-breaking; a combination of invention and craftsmanship that's remained at the heart of what we do.

People with slim feet and a low instep/arch may benefit from the use of an insock or inner sole to help reduce the excess volume inside the shoe.
