About this deal
For a full-sized version of this keyboard, the K60 RGB Pro has everything this one offers, except the low profile speed switches. It recently launched a new product into this revered family – the K60 RGB Pro Low Profile – and it wears its experience on its keycaps. Unfortunately, while these low-profile switches are incredibly responsive, they might be too sensitive for some, especially for general typing. If you're not a fan of the switches you can always opt for the K60 Pro SE, but even then, your choices are still fairly limited. Cherry Viola switches use fewer (four instead of eight) and cheaper parts than MX ones and are solder-free and instead frame-mounted.
Corsair also equipped the K60 RGB Pro with full n-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting, which most of today’s gaming keyboards offer. The K60 RGB Pro is the first keyboard to land in our lab with the Cherry Viola mechanical switches announced January. The regular K60 Pro uses linear and smooth Cherry Viola switches, which feel fine but make a slight metallic scraping sound when pressed down. Notably, the brush strokes on the black anodized aluminum top plate help make the keyboard appear a little more premium. When viewed from above, there doesn’t seem to be a huge difference between the regular K60 and the Low Profile model. Corsair does have a version of its more premium K70 available with Cherry MX Low Profile Red switches, so if you'd prefer a more expensive keyboard, that would be a better choice. You can also snag ideas from Corsair’s forum of downloadable profiles and sync with other products supporting Corsair iCUE RGB effects. Instead of full-sized Cherry MX switches, Corsair opted to go with the company's MX Low Profile Speed switches. While Corsair's software is pretty good for setting up the Corsair K60 RGB Pro Low Profile to your liking, you will need to either use the same PC or start from scratch if heading to a LAN event.
International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. There are also several other variants that use regular Cherry Viola switches: the Corsair K60 PRO, which has red backlighting, the Corsair K60 RGB PRO, which has RGB backlighting, and the Corsair K60 RGB PRO SE, which adds a wrist rest and PBT keycaps. Illuminate your desktop with near-limitless colors and effects, enhanced by amplified underglow keycaps with a standard bottom row. The Speed switches live up to their name, and keypresses take little force and feel as responsive as the Cherry MX Reds I’m used to gaming with.Bright, Dynamic Per-Key RGB Backlighting: Illuminate your desktop with near-limitless colors and effects.
