I thought that the Swordsmith Arc was a signifcant step up from the Entertainment District and the long drawn out Daki battle that seemed to take up most of the season. Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive to their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time.

Contains episodes 1 to 13 on Blu-Ray with both the English dub and the original Japanese track with English subtitles.Funimation did release the film’s standard edition on home video in North America though so it does make sense. Part of this is because of that one episode that was animated well, while the other is due to the massive box office success of the film in Japan – Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a demon slayer so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family. Due to licensing and contract restrictions, this product can be sold and shipped to the US, Canada, and Mexico only.

It was still a decent arc overall with a good finish, but I felt like it could have been condensed into a movie similar to Mugen Train. The Demon Slayer Season 3 Blu-Ray cover features Mitsuri Kanroji who was behind the Love Hashira character from Swordsmith Village Arc.

The limited edition box looks amazing next to the Season 1 limited edition, the behind the scenes book gives interesting insight into the making of the movie, I love the soundtrack CD inclusion, and the inner case artwork is also worth mentioning as it is also stunning to look at. She also made a cameo appearance when Tajiro met all the Hashiras for the first time during Season one. The demon-slaying element is always intense and gruesome – but the heart of the series is also golden. Includes episodes 1-13 with both English and original Japanese with English subtitles viewing options over 3 Blu-ray discs. Since I last acquired the Blu-rays for the first season of Demon Slayer, the anime has since gone into ridiculous levels of popularity, as high as the likes of Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia to provide some examples.
