This book allows you to journey with them after the devastation of losing their spouses, as they try to heal, but as they soon realize that they are feeling a hell of a lot more for one another and they ever thought they could. Winslow does her best to avoid Griffin, but when a woman is found dead on Eden property, the two of them have no choice but to cross paths. I’m supposed to stay clear of the “forbidden” forest and piss away my days in my grandparents’ stupid rose garden alongside a boy named Avery. As a single dad with nowhere to turn, Eason moves in with Bree despite the old tensions and the new grief they share. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez now lives in South Carolina with her husband and four young children.but the characters in this are entirely their own, so it was interesting to see a very similar plot played out with completely different characters. Being in such close quarters these two do grow close as they lean on each other, as they develop more than friendship for the other.

Thankfully, after all the drama and the greatest wreckage Eason and Bree could have ever known, this story also came with a whole lot of healing, love and a true sense of family.

This couple’s journey to happily ever after is hard fought and so very different than most, and I soaked up the subtle changes in their interactions. Uma história lindíssima, apesar de ter um pouco de drama a mais para o meu gosto, previsível e um pouco forçada no final. But after *SPOILER INCOMING* Eason gets a DNA test that proves Luna is his daughter, we resolved pretty much everything the book marketed itself on. Jessica and Eason are plagued with financial difficulties that affect their ability to co-parent their daughter, their intimacy and their overall relationship. However, I was very curious of how the author would bring the heroine around and redeem her before my eyes!

my rating is a reflection of my enjoyment of the book and lack of emotional connection to the story. So, I was wondering if I should keep reading or not, but then I remembered the high average rating and kept reading, waiting for the captivating pick up. En revanche les relations sont tendues entre Bree et Eason car selon elle il n'est pas l'homme dont sa meilleure amie a besoin. But carved into my soul for the rest of my days would be the earth-shattering realization that the woman in my arms wasn’t my wife.When a double date goes terribly wrong, and both of their lives go up in flames, Eason pulls a woman from the wreckage. like why bother well I might HAVE to change that because then I wouldn't have a book with one of my least favorite tropes as a challenge pick book and that is the only reason why I didn't DNF this book. She brings along an unexpected companion-her best friend, who is fleeing a wedding and groom she has no interest in. and, when the sun eventually shines again, it’s the right couple that evolve from the inferno into forever.
