I've just noticed that the Argos, Halfords and Gelert beds all look very similar, and have similar dimensions, so possibly Gelert is making them for Argos and Halfords, or maybe they're just directly they're just rebranding the Gelert ones.

Its lightweight and perfect for festivals why slump it when with this bed you can do a festival in luxury . Though we specialise in selling camping and caravan accessories at low cost, we will not compromise on quality.

One difference I can see is that the Halfords cheaper one doesn't have the raised pillow area that the other cheaper ones have -- I don't know if that can be raised and lowered though). Thanks Dezzie, I did have a look at the Higear after you said that, and thought it looked very much like the Gelert! People around here seem to generally like the Argos camp beds, but I haven't seen anyone say anything about the Gelert camp beds. It's for the festival goers, the outdoor explorers, the risk takers, the storm-chasers, the campervan connoisseurs and the ambitious adventurers. I have to admit though, I got through 2 of the sunncamp branded ones and gave up with them, as the w shaped bars just didnt fit properly and ended up bending out of shape.

I had to spend ages trimming down the ends of the springy bars before they would fit in the main bars, and even now require all my strength to fit together. We used it recently at a visit to relatives for our 3 year old to sleep in and she also loved it and its good because she couldnt fall out of it due to the way the canvas sinks slightly when you lie in it.
