Currently, Graham’s is the only British Port company that is run independently under one family's control. There is rarely universal agreement on the quality of the wine produced from a given year, and in some years a single producer may be alone in declaring a vintage. Since then Malvedos has been recognized as one of the Douro ValleyÂ's finest Â'river Quintas,Â' and the quality of the wines from the vineyard continues to be fundamental to GrahamÂ's reputation as a leading producer of quite exceptional Vintage Port. This wine’s contact with the wood of the cask works hand-in-hand with time to create one of our greatest wines.

This, combined with the skill of the Master Blender, has resulted in Graham's mastering the art of making an outstanding 30 year old tawny port. Although it bears the word ""vintage"" in its name, single-Quinta Vintage Port is produced from a particular vineyard and usually from a lesser ""undeclared"" year.
