About this deal

com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646). Starring Jean Claude Van Damme at the height of his popularity, the movie is presented on this UHD/Blu-ray combo pack from Kino Lorber in its one-hundred minute unrated ‘International Cut' with a host of new extra features.

But Chance quickly learns that the old man was actually killed by wealthy hunters in a game organized by a ruthless businessman (Lance Henriksen, The Terminator, No Escape). quality jumps from scene to scene in this release, from a light frame jumps to a dark frame, impossible to watch. s U-571 is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK this September, with extra features too: more details here. I mean, it’s always easy to spot Van Damme’s stunt double, but now you can really see the difference. There are some quite interesting comments about Van Damme's supposed similarity to Alain Delon, an actor Mr.Luckily, Boudreaux is pretty handy with a gun, and when he doesn’t have a gun, he’s even better at kicking bad guys in the face, which he does a lot! I think that the 4K master that was prepared on behalf of Kino Lorber is very solid, plus there is a fine selection of exclusive new bonus features. For how popular this film is, Hard Target hasn’t ever really enjoyed a great home video release - until now. Universal Pictures UK will celebrate the 30th anniversary of John Woo's action thriller Hard Target (1993) with a brand new Collector's Edition 4K Blu-ray SteelBook, which will be available for purchase on June 26th. At one point, Van Damme punches a snake to knock it unconscious, and later he winks conspiratorially at a pigeon that “helped” him take down a goon.

Bruce Jensen on Jake Gyllenhaal goes full on Jackie Chan in the Trailer for Doug Liman’s ‘Road House’ also starring Conor McGregor Dare I say, for my taste, this looks better than the original? Excellent looking Steelbook with great extras as per the pics, however no video extras as they were on the DVD. When things get dangerous, Chance has Natasha hide out with his Uncle Douvee (Wilford Brimley) out in the bayou, but Van Cleef and Fouchon aren't going to take any of this lightly. Released in a blaze of publicity at the end of last year was Disney’s latest animated feature, Wish. If you can watch it in HDR, and tolerate the odd moment of distinct aural displacement, it's actually a whole lot of fun revisiting this action classic, which has certainly been done justice by some tremendous native 4K remastering. The film's warm color scheme is reproduced quite nicely and we get strong black levels evident throughout.

The kind of film ripe for a 3D object-oriented HD audio Dolby Atmos track, Kino unfortunately completely dropped the ball here as not only have they stuck to just 5. Additionally, I think that in 1080p some of the black crush becomes more prominent, though I wish to mention that the stylization again hides a lot of it pretty well.Doesn’t look like there’s anything in the way of extra features included, and the package is a 4K disc only. The only things that feel “John Woo” about any of this are the excessive use of slo-mo and the occasional dove fluttering through the scene. I felt like I was seeing small details, particularly costume textures I’d never really noticed before. Therefore, they do not accurately reflect the quality of the 4K content on the 4K Blu-ray disc, including the actual color values of this content.

The movie builds nicely to a very intense, and ridiculously intense, finale that takes place in a ‘Mardi Gras Graveyard' (which is a warehouse full of old parade floats) that proves to be the perfect place for Woo to unleash his considerable talent for staging high octane gun-fu sequences that are, if not particularly realistic, pure eye candy in the best possible way. Not to sit around with just a new 4K release, KLSC gives Hard Target some new bonus features upgrades. Grain exposure is fine, but I much prefer the tighter appearance of the visuals that materializes in native 4K, which has a significant positive effect on fluidity as well. Not until the big action climax in the last half-hour does Hard Target really start to feel like a proper John Woo movie. She talks about what she learned on the set, being petrified of the action set pieces and the snakes in the movie, getting injured during the shooting of a motorbike scene, how great Woo was to work with despite the studio breathing down his neck the entire time, how much fun she had on set, filming the love scene that was later cut, Jean Claude's infamous mullet and how proud she is of having been in the film. Has anyone else who has watched this 4K disc noticed multiple times during the film where the picture kept getting dim then bright, dim then bright? s Universal Soldier and 1994's Timecop might have been his biggest hitters at the Box Office but, sandwiched in-between, Hard Target is easily the best action film in his entire career. Kino's UHD/Blu-ray combo pack has some botched audio on it, but a replacement program is in the works.
