Our hero has now seen the heroine at her most vulnerable worst with most of her dignity pooled at the bottom of the bucket she is hugging along with the rest of the expunged contents of her stomach and even so, despite the heroine’s vomit trajectory, none will even fleck his teflon self and most importantly, he will love her even more.

Everyone deserves to be partnered with someone who treats them with kindness, consideration and respect the vast majority of the time — I’m talking at least 90%, not just 55% here. I doubt Joshua’s friends would encourage him to be with Lucy because she wasn’t so great to him either. I do wish she had more self confidence- I would really love to see a book where the woman knows she’s beautiful and owns it, instead of waiting around for some dude to tell her she’s hot, but bottom line is I loved her. I will be honest though and say that even if a romance has that, there is still potential for the story to pick up and be enjoyable.I did expect it to be this white because there is not one POC in this book which it's weird because the worls IS NOT WHITE, PEOPLE.
