About this deal

There's a point where she is supposed to become really firm in her resolve to carry out the Medium's will but she never feels very firm at all, in anything. All she must do is gain Mordaunt's confidence and trust and persuade the apostate to divulge his secret to her. Let’s go that way,” Eilean suggested in an undertone, tugging her friend’s arm to steer around them. On your way, girl,” he said, waving her to the door, with a look that suggested their conversation was over.

I’ve always been impressed by the quality of this house’s acquisitions, but they’ve never aligned with my personal taste. As the door closed behind her, leaving Eilean and the Aldermaston together alone, she finally set the bread on the table. This book is actually a prequel as it takes place before the Abbey is built so it’s a great place to begin. When they reached the kitchen, they hurried inside and walked down the long aisle of tables and benches already crowded with people from the fields, eating and talking boisterously.I decided to self-publish Landmoor and Silverkin, using Deep Magic as a platform to gain some visibility with readers.

I was given a free copy of The Druid by Jeff Wheeler (author), 47North (publisher) and Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. So in discussing this fact with my editor, we’ve got some neat surprises coming that should be interesting. a secret maston rite where a person is given additional powers which can be temporary or permanent as imposed by the maston and according to the Medium’s will. It’s a brand new world, a brand new magic, and a cast of beloved characters I can’t wait to share with you.In Muirwood Abbey, young mastons learn to read and engrave and dedicate themselves to unlocking the secrets of the Medium. Because books 2 and 3 were already in progress, there wasn’t much wait for The Thief’s Daughter and The King’s Traitor.

The abbott of the monastery Eilean, our protagonist, is being raised in is so proud he can’t perform miracles anymore. So kind of a heads up for those who have read Muirwood, if it's been a while you may want to go back and read it again before starting this. While I absolutely love The Kingfountain series I have never been as huge a fan of the Muirwood books so I did not start this book with high expectations but I was very quickly won over. One of the most curious things about the mastons was their ability to cross from abbey to abbey without horse or wagon. An abandoned child becomes a singular inspiration to the mythology of Muirwood in an epic series by Jeff Wheeler, Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Muirwood and Kingfountain novels.

The heroine is a very well drawn character who I look forward to reading about in future books, as is her chief pursuer. Mastons study and learn from ancient tomes how to control their thoughts and to harness the powers of the Medium for noble causes. I was crushed, but I wrote to Sharon to see if she had any more hardcover copies of it, and she sent me a new one with a warning to keep it buckled in the backseat the next time. Bestselling: this filter button will list the first book in my different series based on the highest sales for the first year (highest to lowest). I read Wheeler’s Legends of Muirwood and while it was ok, nothing about it made me want to go read more by him.
