About this deal
It’s sort-of working, in that I can open / close the relays from LinuxCNC HAL and read back the state, but I feel that I am missing a trick with the other 4 (in my case) inputs. In the line above gSlaveID was set to one, i is a number between one and 16 and refers to the relay to be controlled.
Welcome to my quick review of an inexpensive 2-channel 5V relay module controlled via RS485 bus utilizing Modbus RTU protocol.Built-in TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) effectively suppresses voltage fluctuations and transient surge voltages in the circuit, making it lightning-resistant and anti-electrostatic. Simply, it’s an Arduino library for communicating with Modbus slaves over RS232/485 via RTU (remote terminal unit) protocol. The power supply of this product is not included, it is recommended to purchase 12V power supply if you need it. Due to its fast communication, stability, reliability, and safety, it is an ideal choice for industrial control equipment and/or applications with high communication requirement. I could see a total of four J3Y (S8050) NPN transistors and one KL2 (BAT54A) SMD Schottky Barrier Diode as well.
If you need to solder anything to your product or make any other modifications please make sure that you test the product is working first. We’re obliged by EU General Data Protection Regulation to let you know about this right; we don’t actually intend to misuse your data. The use of the Modbus RTU Relay is straightforward and is an ideal choice for industrial control equipment and applications with high communication requirements due to its fast communication, stability, reliability, and security.
