This was definitely a run of the mill self-help book peppered with a montage of "embracing your inner basic self" steps - eat ranch dressing, never let your cell phone battery die, embrace some sparkle, and grab that 10 a. While I do not care about the best way to take selfies, or how to navigate social media, I know there are people who will. and it's not really a memoir, because so much of it feels impersonal and it isn't really a "story time" sort of book. The next time you go on a first date or meet a new group of people, I hope you feel comfortable being exactly who you are and that you don’t worry about saying or doing the “right” thing, because there is no “right” thing.

Stassi's shock humor works for TV, but doesn't translate in writing when she has nothing to comment on except her own opinions.Her talking about all-day pool parties and insisting that La Mer is the best facial moisturizer made me roll my eyes.
