Use one hand to hold down the shield. Starting from the center, hold the squeegee with your other hand and gently slide it across the screen in an outward motion (avoiding open ports or buttons). Adjust the MilitaryShield with both hands to make sure it's still in the right place. Spray on top of the MilitaryShield to make sliding easier, and continue using the squeegee to push out excess moisture. You want to push out all of the solution and air bubbles.

Any bubbles or streaks you see after initial application is normal! They should disappear within 12-72 hours. If your MilitaryShield includes a button piece, spray it once, position, and press down in place. Once your placement is to your liking, use the microfiber cloth to gently dab away left over moisture. Set it on a flat surface overnight. We recommend 12-24 hours for best results. Yes, the protective film has no harmful properties in its materials, however you must make sure to follow the instructions carefully. Do not use an excessive amount of solution during the installation process. A light layer of moisture is all that is needed. If you are concerned about damaging your device, we recommend using small pieces of tape to cover open areas, such as your home button, earpiece, microphone, and speaker hole. The shield is peeling from the corners. What do I do? Do I have to leave my device off for 8-12 hours after application? Can I use my device during that time? Disposable: They will often sell these in sets of at least 3 or 5 because they are one-time applications. If you mess up, you need to use a new protector.
