About this deal

Place the tip of both probes in Bluelab pH 4.0 Calibration Solution or pH 10.0 calibration solution. You'll know exactly when to tweak your feed - Simply set your target pH, CF & temperature. Any readings that are off targets will flash! Get your temperature, pH and CF right to boost nutrient uptake, enhance growth and improve root health. Fit the (optional) pH probe holder to the stem of the pH probe. Do not flex or bend the probe stem as it may break! Many plants flower as a result of changes in the number of hours of uninterrupted darkness they're exposed to. The display LEDs on the Guardian glow in a plant-safe green that won't disturb dark periods and cause unwanted issues.

Monitor your dosing pH, Conductivity and Temperature with alerts on your phone when using the Wi-Fi capable Bluelab Guardian Monitor Inline.

Getting Started: The Bluelab Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi Product overview and how to get started Overview Both the pH pen/probe and the storage cap contain KCl (Potassium Chloride) solution. The result of a small level of evaporation of KCl is the formation of a salt crust as KCl is a type of salt. The reading settles after about 30 seconds so wait for a short while for EC to stabilise. Is the Bluelab pH Probe fully submersible? So confident are Bluelab in this product's robustness, that every Guardian comes supplied with a two year guarantee. Only the pH probe is exempt, due to the delicate nature of its glass parts, yet even this still comes with a guarantee of 6 months. Monitor your nutrient pH, CF & temperature 24 hours a day with Bluelab Guardian. All readings are live!

Choose the correct plug adapter from the supplied selection, connect it to the Guardian's power supply, then connect the power supply to the underside of the main unit. Attach the pH probe to the underside of the unit, by inserting and twisting. The temperature / conductivity probe is supplied pre-attached. The unit can now be powered up at the mains supply. The Bluelab Guardian Monitor is a constant indicator of the desired levels of EC/ppm 700/TDS/CF, pH and temperature, The Bluelab Guardian Monitor provides 24 hour continuous reading for pH, conductivity (EC/ppm 700/TDS/CF) and temperature within a solution. The Bluelab Guardian monitors temperature in centigrade or Fahrenheit, conductivity in terms of EC / CF / TDS / ppm, and also pH levels – and it does it consistently and accurately, with the use of scientific grade external probes. The Guardian will even provide a visual alert should levels drop below, or rise above, pre-programmed values – minor issues can then be dealt with before they become major issues. A. Press and hold conductivity ‘units’ button. After 3 seconds it will change to the next unit indicated by the glowing LED. Release button. Repeat step until desired unit is selected.

Bluelab pH Probes: Care, maintenance and storage- Clean, hydrate and calibrate your pH probe monthly. Bluelab pH Probes: Care, maintenance and storage - Clean, hydrate and calibrate your pH probe monthly. Step 6: Placement of probes Your settings are saved if power is lost. Better yert, no calibration's needed for your CF or temperature. To calibrate your pH, there's one simple button. Before doing anything, you should soak the pH probe in KCL (potassium chloride) solution for 24 hours. This is very important! The Bluelab Guardian Monitor is mains-powered and is mounted to the wall or hung on a support and the probes simply placed into the pond water, filter. To select your desired conductivity unit, hold the unit button, located next to the conductivity display, down for 3 seconds. This process will trigger a move to the next unit of measurement, as indicated by the 3 LEDs to the right of the display. Repeat this process until you have arrived at your chosen unit of measurement. Repeat the whole process again for your choice of temperature measurement. This salt crust is normal and will not harm the probe or meter. Gently rinse the salt off under fresh running water. It is essential to ensure that your probe has sufficient KCl in the storage cap at all times to remain hydrated. How often do I have to clean the probes? Your Bluelab pH and EC probes need to be cleaned and calibrated regularly to extend life and get accurate measurements. Refer to the following articles: In just one glance the Guardian Monitor measures all three critical parameters to successful growth; pH, conductivity and temperature. Seasonal changes, sunlight hours, wind, inherent plant growth; from vegetative to fruiting; are all influencing factors to plant growth success. More importantly...these parameters change the plants uptake and need of water and specific nutrient elements. The Bluelab Guardian is a constant indicator of the desired levels of EC, pHand temperature, enabling the grower to optimise these parameters as the crop progresses through each growing phase. The Bluelab Guardian can be mounted in a suitable area, using the 4 supplied screws. Make sure that it is placed in an area that will allow the probes to reach the reservoir tank comfortably – no further than two meters away. Two cable ties are supplied with the unit, which can be used to mount it to a support or hanging bar. Avoid positioning the Guardian in areas of direct sunlight. Though the unit is water resistant, you should also avoid positioning it in areas where it can easily be splashed with nutrients. Mineral salt deposits can be corrosive and cause damage over long periods of time.
