To continue to use fixed sights you must choose a breech with either a rear flat to allow original rear sights to be used or one with a dovetail that will allow the LPA MIM sight to be used, as on the 2300T pistols. (As pictured on the left) The first upgrade is the inclusion of the steel breech. Featuring an 11mm dovetail for mounting optics, the steel breech offers more rigidity for the barrel. It can also accomodate the LPA MIM rear sight, though there is no provision for a front sight out of the box. Upgrade number two can be found at the end of the rifled steel barrel. A threaded end cap, with 1/2"x20 threading to allow the addition of a moderator or custom muzzle brake to be fitted.
