Nevertheless, their addition might have just put Razer head and shoulders above the competition.When it comes to affordable gaming keyboards, Razer has you covered with the Cynosa Lite. With its trusted Synapse 3 software and gorgeous Chroma lighting, not to mention a sturdy plastic frame, it’s a great option for the money. For day-to-day use, the Cynosa Lite works pretty well. Despite using domes, it’s pretty easy to type on, offering a degree of tactility when the dome collapses and you input the key press. It’s perfect for long typing sessions when you want to bang out an essay late at night, although the dome action can feel spongy after a while. The keyboard comes with a standard length (albeit non-braided) cable, which means you won’t spend time tugging at the wire to move your budget board around. The Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro does have one small advantage over the Razer Cynosa V2 in that the Pro version offers underglow lighting effects.
Much like every other Razer product I’ve had my hands on, the software and lighting department is certainly where the Cynosa Lite gets one over on its rivals. It’s not just a pretty mouse either – with an impressive 250 hours of continuous gameplay on a single AA battery with the option to switch to Endurance Mode for up battery life up to 9 months. Overall, it’s a brilliant gaming mouse boasting reliability and portability. We’d finally recommend a mouse that is either left or right-handed. Though ambidextrous mice are convenient, an ergonomic design for your hand will be far more comfortable. Features to consider when choosing the best keyboard for PS5 Form Factor The Cynosa Lite, Cynosa Chroma, Cynosa Chroma Pro and Cynosa V2 have been built to be spill resistant as the devices should be able to withstand light splashes of water (the keyboards can’t be submerged in water, however). Warranty If you’re more into slower-paced games adventure or strategy games then the sensor becomes a less determining feature.Counts Per Inch (CPI) refers to a mouse’s maximum sensitivity. It is the number of base units (counts) that the mouse uses to measure distance which are counted when you move the mouse. The general rule is that the higher the CPI, the greater the potential sensitivity of the mouse. Most mouse gamers won’t typically go beyond 1,200 CPI in current gaming, so this is the ballpark number you’ll want to look out for. Ergonomics (shape, weight, size) Razer also, for some reason, decided to make the primary enter key smaller than the right-hand shift key. It's a minor thing, but when you're used to typing without looking at your keyboard, a small change like this means lots of missed presses. I've examined the design of the Cynosa Chroma, which has a regular-sized enter key, and for the life of me can't quite see what needed to be different.
The Razer Cynosa Lite, Razer Cynosa Chroma, Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro and Razer Cynosa V2 all support Razer Synapse 3. Dedicated Media KeysYou’ll find that macro functionality and button assignment are limited on consoles compared to the PC. In other words, you won’t get access to dedicated peripheral management software for mouse and keyboard. This means that you can exclude gaming mice which come with lots of programmable buttons, like the Razer Basilisk V3 which boasts up to 8 buttons, despite it being an excellent gaming mouse. Sensor & CPI / DPI Membrane switches will be preferred by those after a quiet typing experience , or who want a keyboard for non-gaming purposes. Overall though, our preference definitely leans towards mechanical keyboards for gaming. Is a membrane keyboard good for gaming? In our opinion, it’s got to be the Razer Power Up Bundle. The headset is first class, although we understand that a mechanical keyboard might be the preferred option for a lot of gamers. If this is the case and you can afford the price tag, go for the Razer Turret combo. The design is arguably unremarkable, but an open-housing or aggressive typeface on the keycaps doesn’t necessarily make for a good keyboard. The Cynosa Lite will sit comfortably with any standard peripherals you already have, and won’t look out of place on any desk.The new Razer Cynosa V2 features the more advanced N-key roll over, which will register all simultaneous key presses without any issues. Programmable Keys Razer has long been the king of keyboard cool, but has also often priced out many from buying its excellent peripherals. That changes with the Razer Cynosa Lite.
