About this deal

In short, the XE200 is very thin on settings and features. But that can be good for folks who want a mesh that works for their Wi-Fi connection needs and not much else. TP-Link Deco XE200: Fast performance By the way, 11Gbps, in this case, is the total bandwidth of the hardware’s three bands, including 4804Mbps (6 GHz) + 4804 Mbps (5 GHz) + 1148 Mbps (2.4GHz). The TP-Link Deco XE200 Mesh system To avoid wireless disconnect issue during firmware upgrade process, it's recommended to upload firmware with wired connection unless there is no LAN/Ethernet port on your TP-Link device.

The Archer AXE75 is a modest tri-band 2×2 router with a top bandwidth of 5400Mbps, including 2402Mbps on the 6 GHz band, 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band, and 574 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. And that brings us to the hardware’s 10Gbps network port. Lone 10Gbps: No actual Multi-Gig experience The Deco XE200 units have a distinctive upright design. They look a lot like TP-Link’s (now discontinued) Deco X90 stations, but are even bigger, looming 241mm tall and flaring out to a maximum diameter of 130mm across the top. The support for multiple 10Gbps ports means the Archer AXE300 is an excellent standalone router for those with a Multi-Gig wired home or with an ultra-fast NAS server. In short, even when hosting a super-fast brand or a local server, the 10Gbps port doesn’t have any way to show its performance on the hardware’s output front. So, this port is always overkill.

In all, this router is such as novelty that it deserves a separate post. First Quad-band router: Archer AXE300 (AXE16000) IMPORTANT: To prevent upgrade failures, please read the following before proceeding with the upgrade process Since there’s only one Multi-Gig port, there’s no way to experience a multi-Gigabit connection from an XE200 router.

Any printers, NAS box etc will be in the same room as the switching unit (direct connection), wifi is for laptops, TVs, mobile devices, speakers, but also probably occasional gaming etc Feature Filter: All Q&A of functional explanation or specification parameters Configuration Guide Troubleshooting Before You Buy When You Set Up Further Assistance User Application Requirement If Something Goes Wrong FAQs Specifically, the router has one 2.4GHz band, two 5GHz bands, and one 6GHz band to deliver a total bandwidth of 16000Mbps — that’s 1148Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, 4804 Mbps (5GHz-1), 4804Mbps (5GHz-2), and 4804Mbps (6GHz). Here’s the TP-Link Archer AXE300 Wi-Fi 6E router. Note its 10Gbps RJ45/SFP+ LAN port — you can only use it either as a 10Gbps BASE-T or an SFP+ at a time. TP-Link Deco XE200 AXE11000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System has two identical routers. Note how the hardware tapers toward the bottom, causing it to be potentially unstable. Wired: Turn off the Wi-Fi (if any) on your computer and connect to the router using an Ethernet cable.

So far, the only other router with two 10Gbps ports is the Asus RT-AX89X which has one 10Gbps LAN and another 10Gbps SFP+).

My main complaint? The routers are relatively large. Routers can get decently large, and the Deco XE200 isn’t over-the-top — but you’ll still need to find a good place for it. Regular Guest network: All you can do with the IoT above, plus use the 6GHz band and the option to make it part of the primary network. You can not use the hardware just with this interface — the Deco mobile app is necessary. By the way, not the names of the Main Deco (Office) and the satellite (hallway.)
