In Season 5, celebrity team members wore purple shirts bearing a big FGN logo and a gold star on the front. The rounds are based off games you've played all your life, but never quite like this! note (And not quite like that, either.) Scrabble Flash and Sorry! Sliders were released some time before the show's debut, although they're quite normal-sized. Guesstures is a version of charades that introduces a new mechanic: a timer that steals the cards you are trying to get your team to guess! As soon as your team guesses the correct word on the card, grab your card out of the timer before it’s snatched away! Cranium Guesstimator: Basically the educated guess questions from Card Sharks, with the kids and adults playing four questions each.

You may use classic charade gestures such as pulling your ear for “sounds like” and tapping your arm with your fingers to show how many syllables the word has.If a player guesses a word, the actor must pull out that card immediately before it is grabbed by the timer. If a player guesses the word, but the timer grabs the card before the actor does, that card is not scored by the team. The timing device is especially effective because not only does it mark the end of the round, it also dishes out the “punishment” for a player who takes too long. No one needs to watch the timer. If the card is there, you can try to grab it. If it’s not you gotta move on. Rounds are very fast which gives everyone time to play.

Simon Flash: Players wear color-coded cubes and race to match a color sequence displayed on the screen, with the cubes switching colors after every sequence. The first team to score five points wins. Twister Lights Out: ...With the dots on a video board on the floor. Dots begin to disappear as play goes on, and the last member standing wins the round for their family. Combination of Twister and Lights Out, the latter an electronic game by Hasbro subsidiary Tiger Electronics. Most commonly, the actor is allowed to make any gestures other than blatantly spelling out the word Act out the words, starting from Easy to Hard. Do NOT skip over any words. Similar to Catch Phrase and Charades, players will divide into two teams and take turns acting out words, but there is a twist!
