About this deal

The story starts a couple of months after Him ends. Wes and Jamie live together now; Wes dream has come true: he is having a terrific rookie season at NHL, and he is also having the man’s heart he loved in his whole life. But his happiness is not spotless. Wes doesn’t believe he can have both the most important things in his life at the same time. In fear of coming out would damage his career, Wes and Jamie decide to keep their relationship hidden till the end of the season, keeping the media focused on Wes’s game not on his sex life. I started listening to this book on a road trip with one of my friends, and let me tell you, that car got STEAMY. This book is HOT, and when I got home from the trip, I spent the next five hours listening so I could hear how it ended! I promised Wes I’d keep up appearances at least until the end of his rookie season. Coming out now would only hurt his career, and I’d rather take a bath in a tub full of glass shards than be the one to cost Wes his dreams.” This is one of the most enjoyable M/M books I've read recently.I loved everything about it.Great characters, humour, low on angst, great sex scenes and a love that was totally believable.I don't often re read books but this is one I definitely will!!

Being in their heads was torture, but you get to know them so well that you don’t mind the torture. It’s torture and conflict they feel coming to terms with their sexuality in particular, which wasn’t always 100% clear. Their careers/environment/upbringing didn’t help make that any easier on them and you as the reader feel it viscerally, you’re on the journey with them. It’s enjoyable. It’s introspective. It’s soothing. It was beautiful and intimate. I felt and fell for them deeply.

To be honest I was worried with the set-up because Jamie, for all intents and purposes, is straight. But Sarina and Elle did a wonderful job handling that aspect. Jamie self-discovery felt natural. It didn't feel contrived. Both Jamie and Wes have to face obstacles, but when it comes to their feelings for each other, it's clear to me as a reader that they belong together. Their relationship felt raw and sincere, and so, so hot. Jamie has waited a long time for answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night of sex ruin a friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it? When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend… and a big one to learn about himself. I adore these guys and how supportive they are of each other. Their commitment, their banter... it all goes right to my heart. And major bonus: plenty of comedic relief courtesy of Blake Riley. Epic was a total gift and I listened to the whole thing with a huge smile on my face (and heart eyes).

I absolutely loved these two from the moment I started reading. Both characters were awesome, though I have to say that I loved Wes just a tad bit more even though he does make a jerky move towards the end. Our mouths fit together so perfectly. Every time we kiss, I fall even more in love with him, and it has nothing to do with sex or lust. It's him. His closeness and his scent and the way he soothes me.” Jamie and Wes are having a blast living and working in Toronto. Until a scout for another team swoops in to make one of them an offer that might complicate the life they’ve built together. Are you looking for a friends-to-lovers story or maybe even a secret baby book? You can read a list of Sarina's books broken out by trope and style.Audrey is a relatable heroine. She has enough quirks to make her very likable. The only major downside is the slow pace at the start of the book. The descriptions of farming life get a little boring, not to mention all the talk of cooking recipes. You can’t help but fall in love with Wes and Jamie. Their friendship-turned-more had all the right elements it needed to create a beautiful romance; the pining, the yearning, the angst of having feelings for your absolute best friend, the figuring out of what this means for you both individually and together, wanting to give each other space but unable to do so. This is a fantastic friends to lovers/mm/sports romance. I adored it and I’m jumping into book 2, US, straight away! And of course I’ll be listening to the audio book! Him is book one in the Him duet by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. While I have read several books by Elle Kennedy, this is my very first involving Sarina. Why oh why did I wait so long to read this because OH…MY…GOSH!!! I am in love! Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy once again proved that they can write good MM, but I wouldn't mind them writing a book about other characters from the book (Blake, whom I liked a lot and Jamie's sister).

Ryan and Jamie’s relationship is dealt yet another blow which challenges them more than they were prepared for. There is no doubt the love these two share but they are still new. Are they strong enough to overcome this latest hurdle? So they slowly reconnect with a bit of drama to keep things interesting. The whole way through you can feel the love these two have for each other even before they come together. BUT OMG when they do get together these two are insanely hot, I'm talking smoking kindle hot!!! I always suggest this book to those who haven't read any M/M before but I've never even bothered to write a review for this awesome read. The question now isn’t whether I want to fool around with this man. The question is how I’m ever going to give it up.” Over the years, Wes' feelings toward Jamie changed though...Instead of just feeling friendly, he started to feel lust and love... On their last day of camp, when they are 18 years old, Wes challenges Jamie to a shoot out. The result of this shoot out leads to the end of their friendship.Jess Canning isn’t merely her brother’s maid of honor but also the wedding planner, and so she has more than enough eggs to juggle. However, Blake, the best man, has no intention of making things easy for Jess, whom he is determined to possess, re-enacting their moment of bliss from the previous spring.

But the more nights I spend with the other best man, the more I want days too, and that just can't happen. Especially when I find out the real reason why… Well,it's no secret that Him is one of my favourite M/M books, I even recommended it to my gay postman(I'm not joking). I was so excited to read this.I didn't know what to expect but more of Jamie and Wes,there was no way I wasn't reading this. When I finished it the first time, I wrote a small review for it, but since I have re-read this book multiple times since, ... I figured it deserved more from me. So here goes.... When Wes’s nosiest teammate moves in upstairs, the threads of their carefully woven lie begin to unravel. With the outside world determined to take its best shot at them, can Wes and Jamie develop major-league relationship skills on the fly?
