The Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser also contains several ingredients that function as humectants, including aloe vera juice, panthenol, and glycerin. A humectant is a hygroscopic substance that has a molecular structure with several hydrophilic (water loving) groups, such as hydroxyl groups (OH) and/or amine groups (NH2). Depending on your preferences, it can be used both morning and night. Texture and scent did make me use it in the mornings preferably, but I also used it at night on no makeup days or as second cleanse.
