For this, I’m always looping an HD video on YouTube at maximum brightness. That’s a good result for a Windows tablet. When looping an HD video locally at medium brightness, it lasts a bit longer. For demanding multitasking, that 4 GB of RAM is too small. Even when just surfing the web and using Office apps, the CPU and RAM are often maxed out. Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i: The Basics

This is first and foremost a tablet, going up against the base model iPads and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7s of this world. With Chrome OS and Android support, it arguably gives you the best of both tablet and Chromebook worlds, and you won’t find a Full HD+ IPS screen on many other Chromebooks at this price point. The only downside comes in the fact that it’s small. If you’re a heavy multitasker or want to spend a lot of time on your Chromebook keyboard, then you really need to think about a larger device.

The original Lenovo Duet Chromebook we reviewed in 2020 didn't even run Geekbench 5, but if it had it would have been outperformed by the new Duet 3. The Microsoft Surface Go 3 (Intel Core i3-10100Y, 8GB RAM) earned a lesser score of 1,571 in the same test, for example, as did its predecessor the Surface Go 2 (Core m3-8100Y CPU, 8GB RAM) with its score of 1,617. However, more powerful (and more expensive) tablets like the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (Intel i7-1185G7, 16GB RAM) and Apple iPad Air 5 (M1 chip, 8GB RAM) zoomed past the Duet 3 with scores of 5,347 and 7,151, respectively.

Due to the 10.3-inch screen, the keyboard is smaller than of a bigger laptop. It’s similar in size to other official keyboards for 10-inch tablets. The keys have a proper travel and while the touchpad is small, it works fine. I was able to type with the keyboard comfortably very fast – but I’m used to tablets. You’ll need a bit of time to get used to it. And at home, it makes sense to use a bigger keyboard. Even with its cheapest version, the graphics performance is better. And it offers a premium design, a great Surface Pen, and a good keyboard.
