About this deal

Movies bond them together and lead to some real banter, and at least not the “boom, now I am in love with you” approach many other manga in the genre seem to take.

The art is really good. There are some really nice scenes, it's all done very well. There's nothing confusing or out of place. The characters have some great expressions and it all works really well. Zero complaints. Nov 25 i☆Ris the Movie - Full Energy!! Takeoka launched the manga in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine in November 2018. Ichijinsha published the manga's first compiled book volume last July.

Synopsis: After Natsumi's younger sister and best friend Haru dies at the age of 19, she begins dating Haru's fiancee Togo - on the condition that he take her only to places he had taken her sister. Their relationship deepens as the seasons pass, but Haru's Curse lies between them... Will there be happiness after Haru's Curse is broken? i loved their confession scenes (Saeki in the beginning and Wataru towards the end)!! the way they had done it was SO who they were as a character and it was the cutest. 🥺 I don't have any concerns about them breaking up - they make some more quiet promises to each other, echoing themes from their first meeting - but it does feel like they're still in the pretty early stages of their relationship. It seemed like the main focus of this one was getting Wataru to start calling Saeki by his first name - which was cute but possibly the least effective scene, for me. There was a bit too much ... trailing off with all their dialogue, and Wataru was still pretty jittery about how badly Saeki...no, Chiharu...wanted to kiss him in response. Me pareció una historia muy tierna y con un mensaje hermoso! Me encantaron los personajes! Sus emociones y su desarrollo. The Summer of You will definitely appeal to fans of shounen-ai like Seven Says. I, however, found it rather generic and clichéd.As the title itself suggests The Summer of You is very much a light summer romance. The manga follows Chiharu and Wataru, two boys who attend the same high school and find themselves bonding over their shared love for film. When Chiharu confesses that he’s in love with Wataru, and while the latter is surprised and confused he claims that this won’t affect their friendship. During summer break they embark on various day trips to see various filming locations from some of their favourite films. During this time, you guessed it, Wataru starts questioning his feelings for Chiharu… All in all, The Summer of You was a more than decent read and I’m sure that will appeal to ardent shounen-ai fans. I think what makes this manga great is that it is pure slice of life. Nothing particularly happens and if you were to write down the plot you'd struggle to come up with things to say. Since there's no summary above, I'll try and explain the plot. Wataru is working at a cinema and they are both attending different universities. They don't get to see each other as much as they'd like to. They go see movies together and then go to a firework show, then they take a trip to an island. That's about it but that's what I love about it. We had all the drama in the first volume but this is pure wholesome romantic bliss. This is a very mellow shounen-ai that makes for easy reading. While I wasn’t all that taken by the mangaka’s art style (something about the faces didn’t vibe with moi) I’m sure many other readers will fall in love with it. I liked the slow-burn friends-to-lovers dynamic between Wataru and Chiharu; however, I could have done without the ‘past meeting’ storyline. It was obvious and rather contrived. Furuya serialized the manga in Ichijinsha's gateau magazine from 2017 to 2019. Ichijinsha released two compiled book volumes for the manga. The first volume is titled Kimi wa Natsu no Naka ( My Summer of You), while the second volume is titled Kimi to Natsu no Naka ( My Summer With You).

Nov 24 Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space Releases an Update Featuring a New Episode 'The Cliffs of Wyrmrest (Wryz Saga I)' on November 24 It's still sweet and I love how consensual it is, which is pretty unusual for a BL (sadly), but overall their energies didn't match at all in this volume. The whole time there was tension leading up to a sex scene – and it was just annoying, for me at least.

He also has an unintentional sarcastic streak, for instance responding to the main character in the following manner: I got say while I loved the first one, this volume is a bit of a disappointment. Wataru and Saeki are in college now, and Wataru (it's mostly Wataru's perspective) considers them to be dating/in a relationship, and yet... they're still like, Oh, I couldn't possibly tell him my feelings, and he couldn't possibly be attracted to me, and Wataru's surprised when he learns one of Saeki's (career?) interests.
