Visually it might not be perfect. But I do have to hand it to Oclean, the amount of data stored is great. Oclean's X10 toothbrush is a viable choice for anyone looking for an electric toothbrush. It is the newest addition to the company's line of products and a successor to the Oclean X toothbrush. When this happens there is a change in the sound of the toothbrush. You will too feel the vibration in the brush handle decrease. There is no visual warning via a light or anything on the touchscreen display.
Unlike many other toothbrushes, with the Elite you can update the software wirelessly. I had a firmware update come through and it updated the brush in about a minute. The motor of the X10 is 40,000 RPM rather than 42,000 RPM like the X Pro Elite. However, the X10 has almost double the battery life at 60 days' worth, and it has one more brushing mode included compared to the X Pro Elite. Are you considering getting an Oclean toothbrush, but not sure if it’s the right electric toothbrush for you?
I am sure a software/firmware update can fix this. But, this issue existed when I reviewed the Oclean X Pro well over a year ago. So how likely this is I am not sure. I don’t advise buying a toothbrush based on the promise of an update. Another perk of this toothbrush is its long-lasting battery and fast charging capabilities. Charging only takes 2.5 hours and the battery life lasts as long as 40 days. Even if you do need to take the charger with you when you travel, it's really small and lightweight.
Like all of Oclean’s range of electric toothbrushes, the Flow has a professional and elegant design. This toothbrush in particular has a beautiful wavy design that is a little different from the others in the range, and it comes in 2 colors: blue and white.The home screen of the app is one you will likely interact with most. This will give data from the most recent brushing session and allow you to dig further if you choose. You also get a percentage reading for the battery of the brush. Some might say it has all the features of a high-end sonic toothbrush without you having to worry about the app. Although the app can be quite confusing, the blindspot monitor is also quite helpful for seeing which areas you’re not brushing properly. The brush comes in pink, grey and blue with a matching coloured brush head. The colours themselves are muted tones that lend them an elegant touch in any bathroom. It is nice to have the granular control. But it is a little restricting if you can’t add multiple modes to the handle or clearly see what each one is.
The colour is called ‘Ultimate Grey’ or ‘Limestone Grey’. It has a really soft tone to it. There is a very light mottling that makes it look like the sort of colour you would find on a well worn stone at the beach.The Oral-B Genius X doesn't have the advanced frictionless magnetic motor of the iO Series 9, which means it's a little noisier. However, it's still an excellent electric toothbrush.
It boasts a sleek design and a simple-to-use interface, but it also comes with some pretty impressive features that make it stand out from the crowd. The big thing to note is that this app does not work in real-time with the toothbrush. What I mean is you can’t use the app as you brush.
Like the other latest Oclean models, this one is quieter than many other electric toothbrushes out on the market, but the humming is louder than the X Pro Elite and the Air 2.
