About this deal

Due to the fact that they are both based on the same statutory National Curriculum, the pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum and the Model Music Curriculum have many areas of commonality, but with different areas of emphasis and focus. The pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum focuses on a holistic approach to music, with an emphasis on aural development. The Model Music Curriculum places more emphasis on the acquisition of note-reading skills and knowledge of a body of musical works. It also represents exceptional value for money, is made in England, is carbon neutral and fully recyclable! The pBuzz is pretty much a simplified version of the trombone - it features an authentic trombone mouthpiece and a moveable slide to change the pitch, however, it is more compact and certainly a lot lighter than the traditional instrument, which makes it easy for younger players to start making their first steps towards playing a real instrument.

In the Model Music Curriculum, there is no indication of how listening could be developed progressively over the Key Stage. Our pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum draws on the research work of Durant & Welch (1995) to ensure that listening activities are appropriate for the children’s stage of listening development. At the start of KS1, Durant and Welch state “There is an awareness of the expressive gestures in music, moods, and character in a musical passage. Children may easily relate music to story, visual images or other external associations” (Durant & Welch, 1995). We also wanted to create a brass instrument that was simple enough to allow all KS2 classroom teachers to use it without being put off! Grotesquely inefficient (non-tabulated output), just for fun. Can you do worse, yet keep it semi-plausibile that someone might have actually earnestly written it? At KS1, the composing aspect of the Model Music Curriculum covers similar ground to the pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum, requiring pupils to create sequences of sounds in response to a wide variety of stimuli, using their voices and tuned and untuned instruments. Where the pBuzz curriculum differs, is our provision of differentiation ideas for composing (and performing) activities, providing a more inclusive approach to composing across the Key Stage. The accompanying lesson plans are pedagogically very sound and are well structured to support children’s musical development.” - Gary Spruce, Music Teacher Conclusionmodule FizzBuzz where open import Agda.Builtin.IO using (IO ) open import Agda.Builtin.Unit renaming (⊤ to Unit ) open import Data.Bool using (Bool ; false ; true ; if_then_else_ ) open import Data.Nat using (ℕ ; zero ; suc ; _≡ᵇ_ ; _%_ ) open import Data.Nat.Show using (show ) open import Data.List using (List ; [] ; _∷_ ; map ) open import Data.String using (String ; _++_ ; unlines ) postulate putStrLn : String -> IO Unit pBuzz is a brass instrument made from plastic. It is like no other brass instrument in that it is designed to play only one harmonic or partial, so no bugle calls here! You can however play chromatically from F to C by lengthening and shortening pBuzz with its sliding body. It has a mouthpiece that was specifically invented by us to make playing your first notes on a brass instrument as easy as possible and in fact, the instrument was designed around this mouthpiece. From the makers of ever popular pBone and pTrumpet, pBuzz is designed to capture the interest of younger musicians and teach them the basics of playing a brass instrument in a fun, exciting way. This is a fantastic choice for schools and workshops and, as well as providing an excellent learning tool and introduction to the brass family, pBuzz also offers a superb value for money, making music accessible to everyone. Though he admits he doesn’t quite know what this means for marketers in practice, he is certain that the impact will be “extraordinary”.

The Model Music Curriculum makes the recommendation that primary-aged children should have an hour’s music lesson every week (which can be split into several smaller sessions if necessary). The pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum has been designed to recognise that all schools are different, and therefore the amount of time allocated to music will vary. The pBuzz has six notes on the colour coded movable slide. The positions are labelled by note name (F, G, A, B, Bb, C) and slide positions from one to six. The colour scheme utilises the ORFF system which is used with many similar starter instruments. This offers a greater understanding of musical knowledge including pitch and note length. ACCESS TO SUCCESS AND PROGRESS: Pupils will be playing tunes in the first session meaning engagement will be high. Progress to more complex music is rapid and pupils come away with a real feeling of success and they are developing authentic brass playing skills. Progression onto "real" brass instruments is easy with a good knowledge of the basics of brass technique and the essentials of music in place. Note: it takes up lots of memory and takes several seconds to compile. To enable compilation for 7 < n <= 25, please, modify include/boost/mpl/limits/string.hpp BOOST_MPL_LIMIT_STRING_SIZE to 128 instead of 32).

In addition, the amount of time that individual musical activities take will vary depending on teacher confidence, pupils’ prior experience, and practical considerations such as the number of instruments available for pupils to use. (For example: if schools do not have a full ‘class set’ of instruments, then immediately the lesson will take longer while different children ‘take turns.’) For this reason, the pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum is not prescriptive regarding lesson timings, adopting instead a more flexible approach that allows teachers and pupils room to explore music at their own pace. As a rough guide, we advise that each lesson may take between 30mins to 45mins, depending on all the factors outlined above. Approach to Content Singing

Our Year 1 material, therefore, draws on repertoire with a strong emotional or storytelling quality and provides questions and activities that will help draw out appropriate responses from the children. Towards the end of the Key Stage, children start to be able to recognize musical features and discuss them in musical terms, rather than relating them to stories or emotions (Durant & Welch, 1995). We have therefore chosen music for Year 2 with strong and obvious use of particular musical features and again provided appropriate activities for teachers to draw this understanding out. Composing Chinese families’ demand for cleaning and personal health products become one of the consumer goods giant’s key growth engines. Over the last 12 months, the pandemic has only accelerated the businesses’ e-commerce experimentation in the Chinese ad market; which according to R3 grew 23% in 2020 despite deep cuts to ad budgets globally as marketers invested in short video, e-commerce and social media. The pBuzz is pretty much a simplified version of the trombone - it features an authentic trombone mouthpiece and a moveable slide to change the pitch, however, it is more compact and certainly a lot lighter than a traditional instrument, which makes it easy for younger players to start making their first steps towards playing a real instrument. This tech will change our jobs as brand builders because the consumer experiences we create will change. We’re experimenting with it already, but I can’t wait to see what comes next,” he adds. The pBuzz KS1 Music Curriculum covers all the expectations around pulse, rhythm, and pitch indicated in the musicianship key area of the Model Music Curriculum. However, it also goes further than this and covers some aspects of instrumental learning that do not appear in the Model Music Curriculum until Years 3 and 4. By the end of Year 1, pupils will be playing 5 notes on their pBuzz, in contrast to the Model Music Curriculum, where pupils do not achieve this goal until Year 4.This source code is supposed to look like plain old English but is, in fact, executable. Elsewhere, 2020 saw the company team up with Alibaba’s Taobao livestreaming influencer Viya (the ‘livestreaming queen who can sell anything’) for the second year runningt for an exclusive online event that featured interaction with P&G executives, guest appearances by celebrity Zhou Shen, and product demonstrations by the scientists. ‘Livestream2.0’ didn’t just aim to drive sales but represented an upgrade in “new product incubation and branding” for P&G. Brands including Pantene and Whisper chose to launch key new products via the virtual event, with “great success”. The ‘extraordinary’ impact of 5G
