It’s interesting to see the families through her eyes – someone who is fully aware of the public image of the notorious bosses and their wives. She knows it’s dangerous to trust anyone, especially the Mafia. Also the sex scenes in this book? I have no words, they were just so hot. They were just so good that i’m still not over how good they were.

And that's what he does when his woman feels threatened. NIKOLAI that man I swear I was drooling all over him!! He also had a plan with his brother but it changed with Amara. The things he says to Amara I had to change my own panties because that mouth!! I'll be his dirty girl anyday 😏 The tropes in this book are just everything I love in a book. This book combined all of my favourite tropes and I loved how it did it. I just had such a good time reading this book and it hit all of my buttons. Seriously, if you love mafia romance, and/or romantic suspense, then you definitely won’t want to miss this exciting story/series!!!

Like they are truly so intimidating and hot as hell. I could just grab Nicolai from this book and keep him lmao. Their intensity is off the charts and that's what kept me hooked throughout this whole book. Your heartaches at the beginning with Summer and the strength she must have to escape the New York Mafia but when she gets thrust into the arms of Luc you see the chemistry bubbling all through the storyline. I always love the way that the main female characters are just as smart and dangerous as the Alpha males and that the relationship between the bosses and their wives is seen as equals with each of them having their very own skill set.
