Great little window handle, as it's projecting catch is slim, enables a venetian blind to be fitted closer to the window frame. As the blind is raised and lowered, the handle glides past with ease. This chrome version is classy. Slimline or narrow type hinges are friction hinges that have a reduced the width where the hinge part fits onto the frame part of the window, certain profile manufacturers made their systems to suit these type of hinges only. You will find the width of the part that attatches to the frame is 15mm in width rather than the more commonly fitted 18mm. By using the same width part it should ensure that all the closing parts locate into the correct position when operated. These shallow slimline window handles allow your shutters or blinds to be fitted closer to the window for a neater look. Ideal if you have a shallow recess and you don’t want your shutters protruding past the recess. Recommend on bay windows when fitting shutters to keep the bay posts hidden.
