The RPM 5 pod kits provide an adjustable airflow slider below the pod meaning you can optimise your vaping experience by either increasing the air intake for an greater Direct To Lung (DTL) experience, or lowering to create a more restricted Mouth To Lung (MTL) vape style. With the 0.15ohm coil at 60W I got around 4 hours and 165 puffs. But my battery may be old or I could have taken longer puffs – it’s hard to be precise! What Can We Expect From The Smok RPM 5 & RPM Pro…
If you don’t see the battery indicator on the screen when you connect your SMOK RPM 5 to a power source, try these three things to resolve the issue. This is a huge variable based on the coil, wattage and your own vaping habits. But to give you a guide here are my results… RPM 5 The power limits for this coil are specified as 20-45W. I used the same e-liquid as for the other coil.
In a nutshell; the RPM 5 is the best pod/mod I’ve tried from Smok and I really love the vape I get from it. Overall there were enough improvements to warrant a version 5 of the RPM, the styling and ergonomics are clearly different and the ‘bra’ screen is better.The top-fill is one of the best I’ve used on a pod/mod, but it’s the vape quality where the RPM 5 excels, for a compact pod/mod it vapes like a proper mod/tank kit and I felt it punched above its weight considering the physical coil size. Sadly the second coil was the same. I did leave the filled pod with a new coil on some tissue for several days before use to see if it leaked and it slowly emptied itself! The rest of the mod has a padded leather finish which is lovely to grip. The Beige version is a standard leather whereas the Grey version is a suede type finish. This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the vendor, failure to follow the vendor's instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the vendor's approval.
How Does the Smok RPM 5 & RPM 5 Pro Perform?

Also there was some weird battery stuff going on. I charged this fully and within 6 vapes it suddenly dropped to 87%. Although I like the flavour from this coil if they are going to be unreliable and leaky I have dropped some points for it in the end of the review.
This is the flavour coil of the kit – but it still provides plenty of vapour but in a smoother less in your face way. As for the battery life, I found at 40 watts I was getting most of a working day and needed charging early evening of ‘normal’ use.We all vape differently and battery life will be different for everyone, but I would class the battery life as ‘good’, and top-up charging during the day was convenient.
