About this deal

If you’re worried about running outdoors, the soles of barefoot shoes come with enough protection to keep any unwanted objects and sensations out, whilst keeping all the good sensations in. Enhanced balance and coordination

TOE BOX: The toe box area is pretty narrow (hence the wideners). If I didn't have pinky toes these would be perfect. Running is usually where people struggle with the transition to barefoot shoes. I’ve been working up to running barefoot for about a year, so running in the Xero shoes 360 was fine for me. If this is your first pair of minimalist shoes, start slow. These would really make great shoes for trail running, in addition to road running, once you work up to it. Xero 360 Shoes Construction and Materials Second, it’s great for deadlifts, squats, and other lower body movements when gripping the floor is essential and you want a super minimalist feel with your shoes. If you’ve never worn barefoot shoes before, take your time easing into these (can’t emphasize this enough). As well as road running, these shoes are suitable for HIIT and cross-training style workouts thanks to the sturdier manufacturing, good breathability and deeper tread.

If you’re running a lot on a weekly basis, then there’s a clear winner between these three models and that’s the Xero Shoes HFS. This model has an incredibly lightweight upper construction and a sole patterning to promote overall traction when moving forward. In terms of the upper, the Motus Strength JJF is well-structured and made from highly breathable mesh. It also has an 85% recycled plastic content, which is great, and particularly appealing for the environmentally-aware. One of the perks with barefoot shoes is that for the most part, they all perform consistently well in lifting settings. The Xero Shoes 360, Prio, and HFS are all awesome for resistance training and barbell lifts like deadlifts. All of these models feature removable insoles which are awesome for allowing you to get even closer to the ground in your lifts.Next try: Got the Xero 360's in and I'ma ball in these for the next few weeks and update here with my findings. I know a few people have commented asking about em so hopefully you see this shit. Also copped the Puma Triple, which look promising as a minimal basketball shoe, so I'll be testing those after I get some mileage in the 360's. With Metcons or Nanos, the primary design intentions are stability and durability. Xero designed the 360s to be as flexible and minimal as possible while still protecting your feet during training. And they hit that nail right on the head.
