For editing purposes on your PC either the free Zoom editing software or that provided by ToneLib - Zoom are both really useful. What is missing? A DI out. Not a big thing for me as the DI on my amp is excellent and I have an Orchid DI on my pedal board.
The real feature I like is the Editing software. It is a PITA to programme any digital multi effects unit from the knobs and buttons on the front. I also have a Korb AC3000B and that is a breeze to programme from a computer. Effects not the greatest but for bass and amp modeling and with over drives this blows the HX stomp out of the water as far as sound and ease of finding good solid bass tones. One final thing about noise. The B1on is digital and like many digital effects units will cause noise on the power line if you don’t use a truly isolated power supply. Almost every digital pedal does this.The B1on is a great bit of kit. As with all the digital multi effects units I have had or tried, it can be noisy at extreme settings . My only real gripe with it is that you have to go into a patch or effect to change volume or EQ. Anyway, if you got one laying around, it can be powered via B-type micro usb cable (smartphone charge cable) or an usual 9v dc lead. Then there are a LOT of great individual effects available which are common across both multi fx pedals. The answer probably already exists but buried in the hpf thread somewhere - remind why you use shelf instead of hpf? Shelf = abrupt cut off of everything below the 'shelf' level (in my case 30 Hz) i.e. a 'cliff edge' cut off. Useful if you're only using to get rid of low end 'crud' (Edit: but based on our discussion below the HPF mode would seem to be better option for this). Play your bass to 68 different drum patterns!
