About this deal

A sound issue with only one side working on your Astro Headset can be caused by a bad cable connection, bad cable, outdated drivers, or a system setting not set correctly. The good news is we’ve got fixes for all these causes. Move down to the “Output to Headphones” option. If this option is grayed out, this means your headphones are not connected. If you’ve bought a spare audio cable, try plugging that in to see if it fixes the problem. If so, then it would mean you have a faulty cable. It’s always a good idea to have at least one spare audio cable for this purpose. Adjust Sound Setting (PS4/PS5) Next, under the “Speaker audio” column, select “Optical audio,” and if you see “Bitstream out,” try turning it off.

The mic is permanently attached, and while the earpads and headbands are removable, Astro doesn't offer mod kits for simple replacement like with the A40 and A50. One of the most common causes for sound coming out of one earpiece are issues related to your audio cable’s connection point on either end. For example, if you’re cable isn’t plugged in securely on either the PC or headset end, you may only receive sound from one side. With the A10 connected to my PC as a stereo headset, Fortnite sounded full and detailed. Gunshots were loud and punchy, and footsteps came through clearly. The stereo mix offered little directionality, so you won’t gain a tactical advantage.Since Elden Ring is available on PC, that's where modding scene is most popular. However, if this is your first time modding a game, it might sound a little confusing. Thankfully, the process is very simple, and even this tutorial video can show you the basics of modding your game in under three minutes.

If you're an Xbox gamer looking to replace their headset on a budget, then the Astro A10 is perfect. For its sound and microphone quality, it doesn't get much better for long sessions of comfortable gaming. The benefit to its 3.5mm connection means it also works on a variety of other devices, so you'll get plenty of use out of it. Additionally, the headset comes with a uni-directional microphone with flip-to-mute functionality and a detachable 3.5mm cable, ensuring you can continue using the headset even if the cable breaks.Once you've beaten Elden Ring for your second, third, or eighth time, you may just want to see what you can do to break the game. The Elden Ring Ultimate Cheat Engine Table gives you the keys to the castle and lets you basically mod the game yourself to do things like create your own spells, spawn bosses, edit stats, use freecam, and tons more. Headphones are working great I opened them up and at first I was upset thinking they did not work but then when I flipped the cord and plugged them into right slots it worked perfectly fine . Once you’ve opened “manage sound devices,” select the A10 headset device listed and test the sound.

Impressing me with its speaker and microphone quality, the Astro A10 is one of the best Xbox headsets on a budget. PC performance depends on your motherboard or soundcard support since it uses 3.5mm line-in connections, susceptible to interference. Build quality is fantastic, with no complaints after extended use due to the comfortable padding and lightweight construction. It was thanks to modders that the original PC port of Dark Souls reached a stable and respectable state. Once the technical wrinkles were ironed out, modders turned to expanding and improving the game in numerous ways to keep the game feeling fresh. Years later, those same talented modders have moved on to the latest and largest FromSoftware title, Elden Ring. With plenty of time to learn the game, there are tons of mods out there that can not only fix nagging issues in the game but add entirely new ways to play. Here are some of the best mods out there for Elden Ring. Once the “Get” becomes “Launch” hit the “Launch button to launch the ASTRO Command Center software. What really stands out is this headset’s build quality. Like all budget headsets, the A10s use almost exclusively plastic. Instead of trying to cram multiple adjustment points around a plastic body, Astro went with a single point of adjustment: Up and down on the ear cups. Comfort is a little worse as a result, but durability is vastly improved (there are simply fewer points of failure). Once you’re in sound settings, you can choose your headphones from the “output devices” drop-down and troubleshoot any issues. The main difference between the Stealth 700s and the Arctis Nova is the build quality. The Turtle Beach headset uses more plastics. Thankfully, that doesn’t lead to a cheaper feel. The headrest is still reinforced with metal, and although it doesn’t feature a suspended headband, there’s still plenty of cushioning on top. The earcups are nice and plump, too, fit with memory foam infused with Aerofit cooling gel. As a simple stereo headset, the A10 doesn't offer any sort of simulated surround sound like the Astro A40 and A50, or the Logitech G433. You don't get a very good sense of directional imaging with this headset, which can offer a bit of benefit when playing first-person games. The surround sound effect produced by higher-end gaming headsets is generally accomplished by audio processing and mixing between the stereo drivers for each ear, and aren't ever as precise or realistic as a dedicated surround sound speaker system due to the simple limits of acoustics; these headsets can create good panning effects between left, center, and right, but don't give any real sense of sound coming in front of or behind you. If you receive an error message and it won’t let you turn “Bitstream out” off, then just above “Optical audio,” select “HDMI audio.”
